And I shouldn’t be sitting here, I should be taking Maggie out for a walk!
She is doing well, starting to build up more strength every day but we can tell her creaky old back legs are stiff and sore sometimes. On those days she lays down with a thud. But she’s come so far in a month, and I’m so proud of her!
Happy Ampuversary Maggie!! Keep up the good work!!
Buddy, Tracie and Steve
You keep on keepin’ on sweet Maggie! You’re doing really well!
Tell your mom after she takes you for a walk to post more pictures! You are such a pretty girl!
HAPPY ONE MONTH AMPUVERSARY 🙂
And it still gets even better!!
Ice cream and cake for everyone…and a big ole’ smooch to Maggie for us!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Thanks! Maggie made it around the block for the first time in 2 over months (what with the initial tumor pain, then biopsy surgery, and finally amputation). What a way to celebrate!! It took an hour and 20 minutes to make that block, but we did it. 🙂
My Tim had this op a couple of weeks before your Maggie 😰 His turned out to be more serious than we originally thought and the first lot of chemo nearly killed him. He’s quite a strong boy though and is now doing well, after a different chemo drug was used. Tim doesn’t walk terribly far either, so good to read your story and compare notes. Never felt so emotional in my whole life. We’ve said goodbye to him so many times and had so many horrible sleepless nights, one ending in a dash to the vet.
Everyday is now precious. It’s lovely to see him now back to his old self, except for the short walks.
Hope Maggie continues to do well.
